CyberKiko FTPSync 2.9 & 2.10 Documentation

Profile is read-only or not writeable by current user

The .INI file holding settings for your FTPSync transfer must be writable by current user running FTPSync, because FTPSync may need to modifiy certain parameters in this .INI file. When this condition is not satisfied, FTPSync will not start your transfer, but will display this error instead.

This check was added in FTPSync 2.10.1. Prior versions will start the transfer, but transfer may fail later.

To resolve the error, please check:

- that your .INI file is not marked read-only

- that user (displayed at the beginning of log file) under which FTPSync is executing has rights to modify your .INI file
