CyberKiko FTPSync 2.9 & 2.10 Documentation

2.10 series

version 2.10.2

  • minor bug fixes

  • FTPSync goes out of active development and is now free to use; however, there may be no new versions and support is limited

version 2.10.1

  • Error "HasChanged: Non-identical files compared", which may be caused by FTPSync on files with non-english characters in certain locales (due to FTPSync not being fully unicode compliant) is now ignored and files are re-transferred. Thus, such files may be always transferred, even if unchanged, but at least won't block FTPSync from running.

  • Added check that .INI file is writeable, to avoid various issues later.

version 2.10

  • Reduced size of .MTB file (on average 30% in most use cases).

  • Improved FTP client.

  • Updated default OpenSSL library used.

  • Added AfterUpload parameter.

  • Various minor fixes and improvements.

FTPSync 2.10 can read earlier versions formats - there should be no side effects when upgrading. However, due to new (more compact) format of .MTB file, it is not possible to downgrade to older versions of FTPSync (unless .MTB file is deleted and FULL transfer made).
